As part of our commitment to delivering top-notch products and customer service, we proudly introduce our warranty strategy, aligning with BergHOFF’s vision: we stand behind our products and offer a warranty against manufacturing and material defects from the date of purchase.

Warranty: general terms and conditions
BergHOFF’s warranty covers material- and manufacturing defects when the product is used in normal, domestic conditions and in accordance with the care and user manual provided.
It does not cover normal wear and tear, commercial use and misuse of the product. BergHOFF and its affiliated companies are not responsible for direct or indirect damage, personal injury or property damage of goods sold through other distribution channels.
(*) The following cases are always excluded from BergHOFF Home’s warranty policy:

Failure to apply the use & care manual correctly.

Damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, abuse, or commercial use.

Scratches, stains, discoloration, corrosion, or damage from overheating, to the interior or exterior of the pan. This also includes the non-stick coating.

Neglect or improper cleaning.

Dishwasher usage.
-
Alteration of the product.
-
Scratches on cooktops, kitchen countertops or other surfaces due to dragging of the cookware.

Dropping or any other impact.
-
Consequential damage is expressly excluded from this warranty.
How to claim your warranty?
If you purchased directly from BergHOFF Home (www.berghoff-home.com) and wish to claim under this warranty, please contact our customer team (customer@berghoffhome.com).
Please provide us all relevant information regarding your claim:

Proof of purchase (e-mail, invoice, etc.), which you can find in your customer account.

The product reference code or commercial name (we can help you, if needed).

Summarize your issue, please send us photos of the defect or damaged good(s).

COOKWARE
Stainless steel pots and pans: limited lifetime warranty
BergHOFF Home offers a limited lifetime warranty on all stainless steel cookware, including 3-ply and 5-ply pots and pans. This warranty begins from the date of purchase (or first use) and covers cookware made with stainless steel outer layers and an aluminium core.
Please note that the following are not covered by our warranty:

Slight yellowing of the stainless steel surface after heating. This is a normal and harmless effect that does not impact performance.

Multi-ply cookware: Minor grey discolouration or surface wear caused by natural aluminium corrosion.

Non-stick coating: Covered by a 2-year warranty.

(Thermo)knobs, handles, and glass lids: Covered by a 2-year warranty, whether purchased individually or as part of a cookware set.

Cookware made from other materials (e.g. aluminium): If included in a stainless steel cookware set, these items are subject to the warranty terms specific to their material type—please refer to the appropriate warranty.
The limited lifetime warranty is valid for up to 30 years from the date of purchase, and it does not affect your statutory rights.

Kitchen knives and knife accessories
Forged knives: limited lifetime warranty
BergHOFF Home offers a limited lifetime warranty on all forged knives. This warranty begins from the date of purchase (or first use).
Please note that the following are not covered by our warranty:

Damage caused by dropping or impact, including broken blades or tips, damaged cutting edges, or broken handles.

Blunting of the blade over time, or scratches that appear through regular use.

Damage from incorrect sharpening techniques.

Coated knives: Covered by a 2-year warranty.

Knife blocks: Covered by a 2-year warranty.
The limited lifetime warranty is valid for up to 30 years from the date of purchase, and it does not affect your statutory rights.

Flatware
Plated, coated, enamelled, or multi-material flatware: 2-year warranty
BergHOFF Home offers a two-year warranty on all stainless steel coated or plated flatware. This warranty begins from the date of purchase (or first use).
Please note that the following are not covered by our warranty:

Neglect or improper cleaning due to dishwasher use.

Fly rust due to dishwasher usage together with items in other metals.

Kitchen Accessories – 2-Year Warranty
BergHOFF offers a 2-year or 5-year warranty on all kitchen accessories, starting from the date of purchase or first use.
Storage Items – 2-Year Warranty
BergHOFF provides a 2-year or 5-year warranty on all storage products from the date of purchase or first use.
On-The-Go Items – 2-Year Warranty
BergHOFF guarantees a 2-year or 5-year warranty on all to-go items, effective from the date of purchase or first use.
